Modelling and comparing two modes of sharing parking spots at residential area: Real‐time and fixed‐time allocation

This research aims to improve the utilization efficiency of parking facilities in residential areas. The real-time and fixed-time shared spot allocation models based on a time window constraint are proposed, respectively. model adopts dynamic response service mechanism, introducing multi-objective decision weighting method construct weighted evaluation function. Then, 0–1 planning with user optimization is established, utilizing branch-bound algorithm for solution. periodic where rejection penalty factor introduced add cost. programming system constructed, genetic annealing solves large-scale calculation problem. results from this case study illustrate mode has more balanced facilities, whereas over-utilization preferred lots occurs model; additionally, when supply demand balance, can obtain higher revenues, reduce effective rate by 9.43%, increase resource 5.28%. In conclusion, reflects advantage user's optimal greater than demand; conversely, optimum resources efficiency.
